Dr Lauren McKay

Dr Lauren is a Specialist General Practitioner/Rural Generalist who graduated from the University of Wollongong. She spent several years working within Gold Coast University and Robina Hospitals before undertaking additional training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Emergency Medicine throughout various South East QLD Hospitals. She found a passion for General Practice and then completed her specialty GP training through the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine.

Lauren enjoys all aspects of general practice, however has a particular interest in women’s health, antenatal care and weight loss management.

Outside of the clinic, Lauren loves spending time with her two young daughters Wren and Hadley, and her two Italian Greyhounds Bruce and Bernie.

FACRRM: Fellowship of Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine
DRANZCOG: Diploma of Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists
EMC: Emergency Medicine Certificate- Australian College of Emergency Medicine
MBBS: Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery
B.Pharm.Sci: Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science
